If you are a federal employee who is faced with a personnel problem or question, you should consult with an attorney who is well-versed in federal sector personnel procedures. Federal personnel rules differ greatly from private sector rules. Federal sector employees are entitled to special benefits, such as job security, paid leave, health care, and retirement benefits. These benefits are not automatic for private workers. Numerous federal laws have been designed to protect federal employees from being deprived of their benefits.
