About Oak Brook College
The mission of Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy is to provide education and training in law and government policy in the context of a Biblical and historical framework; to prepare its students for the future practice of law and related careers; and to build and establish the Biblical foundations of truth, righteousness, justice, mercy, equity, integrity, and the fear of God in legal education and in the professional arenas of law and government policy. Oak Brook College trains its students by using distance-learning techniques, seminars, workshops and on-line instruction. OBCL offers a four-year juris doctor program, which qualifies graduates to sit for the California Bar Exam, and if successful, to practice law. OBCL also offers a one-year Paralegal program, which qualifies students to sit for the Certified Legal Assistant Examination, and a Legal Studies Program, which allows upper level high school students to take paralegal courses on an a la carte basis. Statement of Mission The mission of Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy is to train individuals who desire to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ through service as advocates of truth, counselors of reconciliation, and ministers of justice in the fields of law and government policy.
