Default Which law school classes are the most useful?

Over at The Volokh Conspiracy, George Washington Law School professor Orin Kerr has written this useful item about a George Washington Law School survey that asked alumni which elective courses had proven the most useful to them and which electives they wish they had taken.

Here are the top 3 ranked courses on the usefulness scale:
  1. evidence — (27% of respondents)
  2. administrative law — (21%)
  3. corporations — (18%)

And what courses do GW alums wish they had taken? Surprisingly, their choices were rather boring, perhaps owing to the fact that utility is so fashionable these days. Here were some of the highest-ranking wish-list classes:
  • complex litigation (50 votes)
  • administrative law (48)
  • pretrial advocacy (46)
  • corporate finance (41)
  • law & accounting (38)
