Dean departs La Verne following ABA's accreditation rebuke
The dean of the University of La Verne College of the Law resigned unexpectedly on Jan. 9. The shakeup came eight months after the Ontario, Calif., school lost provisional accreditation from the American Bar Association because of concern over the school's bar passage rates.
