Default Jindal Global Law School marks the dawn of a new era in legal education in India

India’s first global law school - Jindal Global Law School (JGLS).

Part of O.P. Jindal Global University, JGLS marks the dawn of a new era in legal education in India.

JGLS offers the following courses.
(a) Three-year Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree for college graduates.
(b) Five-year B.A., LL.B. degree for 10+2 pass outs.

The first academic session commences in September 2009 at the campus located in Sonipat, Haryana, (National Capital Region of Delhi).

International university associations
Harvard Law School
• Teaching & research on International Legal
Studies, Corporate Law, Human Rights, Negotiations, Internet Law,

Yale Law School
• Clinical legal education, joint research projects, summer internships, library development

New York University School of Law
• Curriculum and research programme development, joint research projects

Sydney Law School
• IT use in legal education, research centre development, joint teaching and research

University of San Francisco School of Law
• Curriculum development in Intellectual Property Law, student and faculty exchange

King’s College London
• Research, post-graduate education, joint conferences with the Centre of European Law

Eligibility:
For 3-year Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.): Bachelor’s degree with not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate. Those graduating from College in 2009 can also apply.

For 5-year B.A., LL.B.: 10+2 or equivalent with not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate. Those passing school in 2009 can also apply.

Entrance examination:
Law School Admission Test India (LSAT–I) by LSAC. The examination will be held in 14 cities across India on Sunday, 24 May 2009. LSAT–I examination registration deadline: 27 April 2009

Financial Aid:
JGLS has tied up with Punjab National Bank for special educational loans upto a maximum of Rs. 20 Lakhs to students of JGLS.
