University of East London offering qualifying law degrees recognised in England, Wales and Northern Ireland
The University of East London (UEL) is a British New University based on two campuses in East London. Founded in 1970 as North East London Polytechnic, UEL was formed from a merger of higher education colleges, including West Ham Technical Institute, in Stratford, and South East Essex Technical College in Barking. The Polytechnic changed its name in 1989, becoming the Polytechnic of East London, and was granted university status in 1992. Welcome to the University of East London School of Law The School has a portfolio of courses that reflect both this unique character and offer a coherent, exciting and wide-ranging intellectual experience. There are over 24 full-time academic staff who, in addition to carrying out research, teach a wide range of courses in the fields of Law and Criminology. The UEL School of Law is situated in Stratford, East London. It has a distinct and vibrant identity, with a commitment to critical, contemporary higher education from a cross-cultural and international perspective. The School has a portfolio of courses that reflect both this unique character and offer a coherent, exciting and wide-ranging intellectual experience in the fields of Law and Criminology. Quote:
