I would suggest you at least write out and prepare the points that you want to make, and have them available in writing at the hearing so you can also give the judge a copy of the written statement...

Medical malpractice cases are extremely complicated and very specialized, and no ordinary person can file or handle such a case under today's legal system. A specialized attorney has to be retained.

If you can prove he has done this before, I would certainly suggest you report him to law Enforcement where he resides, they are almost certain to become involved.

Also, if you hit the car from the back, normally the presumption is that you were at least partially at fault. But the other driver may not want to appear in court to argue any such case.

If you are just setting up a very small nonprofit, say for a neighborhood improvement project or the like, it is quite simple, see the rules and see the discussions here in the forum.

You certainly can try to negotiate, though you are not in a great position having defaulted on the loan. But it's always worth trying to negotiate, the creditors want payment in one way or another...
