Personally I think when it gets above 50 percent you start to have grounds that it may not be reasonable.

Frankly I would agree with you, and I believe in many states the bar does limit contingency fees to 40 or 50% unless good reason exist to go higher.

I have never heard of a 60% fee, 50% is usually the maximum.
