Default Re: Page limit in court submission in NY

If you submit hundreds of pages the judge is going basally ask you to summarize what is the essence of your case any way.
So don't waste his time with hundreds of pages unless it is truly needed.
Small claims is for cases that are relatively simple and time spent on each case is not huge--think Judge Judy!

Call the clerk of court and ask for any local rules as well if you have concerns because in my local sc court with our local judge he DOES have a limit of 30 pages.
And I guess it is just his own rule.

Have you ever watched Judge Judy?

That is about how many pages and how much time the small claims judge is going spend on your case!

If you can't summ up your case in 60 seconds, you lose IMO.
That's what I have seen being in small claims 4 times.
