Default Texas Felony Theft Warrant

I am a Canadian citizen who was living in Texas with a Permanent Resident Card. Within last year I moved permanently back to Canada. I've been informed that a felony theft warrant has been issued against me in Texas. I have two questions: 1. how can I check to see if there actually is a felony theft warrant? 2. if there is indeed a felony theft warrant how do I check to see if its registered with Interpol? Can my passport be checked to see if there is a Red Notice against me globally? I don't know how or why the warrant was issued as it was issued literally months after I was in Canada. I want to get this cleared up but am confused how to do so.

Who told you that?

It's often not publicly available information.

So then ask your friend to show you proof if you don't believe him.

If you're a thief I would think you'd have recollection of the incident which led to the warrant being issued.

If you have a warrant there is only one way to get it "cleared up" - you must turn yourself in and appear in the court that issued the warrant.

You should be contacting an attorney in the jurisdiction in question for advice.

Not that many cases go to Interpol.
And routine "theft" cases are normally not the subject of such action.
Otherwise Interpol would be inundated with cases.

In this regard you are required to seek the help of an attorney to know the details of case charged against you, because this is a serious issue and you have to clear it.
