Default Cashwagon Small Claim

This morning, I received an sms from Legal Dept. of Cashwagon Philippines (no exact name mentioned), stating an invitation to attend a preliminary hearing for an small claims filed against me on October 25 (no exact time and venue), for violation of article 354 revised penal code docketed October 1. If I will not show up, they will issue a warrant of arrest. They gave a certain lawyer named Atty. Paolo Benitez, and to verify the case on her secretary.
Isn't the invitation be given in formal writing, days prior to the scheduled hearing?
Also, I used to request for my SOA everytime they message me but no response. I even gave my email address for them to send the requested document. Different numbers used to text me, not even mentioning the amount I need to pay, and the identity of the agent.
I've tried to request for a payment on installment basis but did no aggreement made.
Can you help me with this matter?

Thank you.

Legally you are not liable to attend the hearing mentioned in the SMS as it was not from any court.

Thank you for this information po. Also, they sited in that sms an article 354 of the revised penal code, which, based on my research, is about libel. Are the content of the sms just lies to sue me?

You can simply ignore the SMS. Another option is to contact the bank to get information of the case against you, if there is one.

I've chatted with cashwagon philippines, but they agent i've talked to said that they have only limited access on my account, and currently it's now with them anymore. They cannot give me the SOA i am requesting.

Can I stand up against them with this thought "NO SOA, NO PAY". Cause I really don't know how much i need to pay including all the interests. The agent who is contacting me don't bother to state the amount no matter how many times i ask for it.
