I am 17 and in Michigan, and I plan to leave in August for TX.
And I have a job already lined up.
Is that going to be any legal problem if my parents object? Right now they say they will not stop me but they constantly have changed their minds in the past. On everything.

I guess if you read above you saw that normally you are under their control until you are 18.
So you need their permission.

TX itself may have a few exceptions as noted above, but you are a resident of MI not TX.
