Default Is it Retaliation? -- I complained about my supervisor being verbally abusive.

I went to the general manager at my company and complain about my supervisor being verbally abusive to, calling me inappropriate names in front of other employees and telling to kiss her rare end. The general manger confronted my supervisor in front of another employee and told her that I called him and told him I have a problem with the way she talk to me. As result she cut my work hours. Can I sue for retaliation?

Yes---You could consult your nearest Department of Labor office to briefly discuss the issue with them first...you may also want to ask the company to put what is happening in writing and explain to them that you may have attorneys review the situation...try speaking to a higher level of management about the issue; they may override the other managers--
