Will all of my creditors normally come to the so-called "creditors meeting" in the bankruptcy process? I am doing Chapter7 soon.

Will they be there in person?
Do I have to speak to them in person?

I wish to inform you that in creditors meeting all creditors may come either themselves or through their authorized representatives. It is compulsory for debtors to come and attend. As regards creditors all creditors who intend to present their view point may attend meeting.

It is not mandatory for creditors to attend the creditors meeting. Even if they attend the meeting you are not going to face any tough questions, generally the meetings are conducted in well manner.

I have declared bankruptcy twice in the last 20 years (unfortunately due to medical bills) and never once did a creditor show at the creditors' meeting.
I don't think they really care in the average consumer bankruptcy.
