Shouldn't the federal government come in and shut these speed traps down?

No, they shouldn't. It wasn't even a "speed trap".

No I don't. Pay attention to the signs and follow them and there's no problem.

I know some small towns might seem to make the signs purposely not easy to see, but it is a driver's duty to watch for the signs and strictly follow the speed limits.

You can't roar through a small town at 65 mph. That's exactly how many people were and are killed every year. Unfortunately we just had it happen in our neighboring community a few months ago.

It still seems deceptive and unfair to me. The way they set up those traps.
Somebody should file a class action. I am sure there would be a few juicy emails on the topic inside those offices.
