In this situation it is better for you to close the case they have filed by paying a court fine and get it cleared. It will be a loss for the bank if they are acting such even after you are in a settlement plan with them and Uptodate with the payments.

Hi how do i pay the court fine? Can i go to any police station? Or do I have to go to the police station where they filed the case? And also I have given them 2 checks in which they have bounced both but only filed a case with 1 check.. Can they still file another case with the other check? This happened back in early 2017

You just randomly cannot go without knowing what the case status is and in which station the case is, you have to visit the station where the case is filed in order to not find yourself being locked up in prison until you are being transferred to the station where you have the case in. If you have given them 2 cheques yes they can definitely file two cases but as you are current with the payments now, they wont do it.

Just to confirm, Who will decide when to file the case? the bank or the collection agency? Cause the collection agency they are everytime sending me emails that they have the power to file legal case but I don't believe them. All what they're telling are just hoaxes and false threats. I never trust them. They just want commission. We have to know the law.

The decision makers are the banks.
