There are two potencies of Everclear. 151 and 190. 190 usually requires some medically related issue, though it is frequently bought under the guise of legitimate purchases to illegally spike large batches of fruit drinks cheaper.

That seems way to strong to me. That really should not be legal.

I guess you are saying that it IS legal then yeah?

Is everclear legal in Ohio?

I thought restaurants could not use that in drinks but I was at one that did, without informing us.

It is NOT legal in Ohio , even the weaker version.

I think the issue was that some places make them "very unusually strong" and it surprises people, usually in a bad way.
I can see some possible liability there.

LOL fat chance. Especially here in the south.
But hey you don't have to drink EVERY time you go out for a simple meal, and if you do, just go slow, problem solved. A ban is not needed.

Hmmm...somehow after 50 yrs on the market i don't see it happening, except maybe in Calif since they like to do warnings for just about everything there.
