You need to collect all the shreds of evidence footage, car photographs, and any other related information then go to the police report or file an online report.

Ask the police to get it (if they will or of they need it too) or file a case and subpoena the data ASAP.
Those are the two best methods in my experience.

You must file your case first then the police will do the investigation by itself. if you have consulted with the personal injury attorney then you have more chances to get the compensation.
