Default I oppose my lawyer's settlement

My lawyer wants me to take a 95,000 dollar settlement.
I feel he will not work hard if I refuse - in fact he has implied that.
Not just implied, he said it.

I am "totally" opposed and honestly would rather have nothing than that amount.

If we cannot agree, what can I do, can we fire him?
But what other attorney would jump in so late?

Sure, but then you will owe him for the work he has done and he will send you a nice big bill.

What makes you think that your case is worth more than $95000?

I wish to inform you that you may terminate the services of your attorney and appoint a new attorney at any stage of the litigation. You may contact the Lawyer Referral Department in the local Bar and they will provide you a list of suitable attorneys. If you decide to self-represent then you may file a Motion and take approval of the Court for Substitution.
