In cooperation with the Namibian Ministry of Justice in Windhoek, Namibia, the faculty of law of the University W├╝rzburg gets involved with the promotion and further development of the Namibian law, especially after Namibia┬┤s independence from South Africa that is characterized by a renouncing of racial discrimination and an embracing of desegregation. Students of the University of W├╝rzburg, predominantly students of law or politics, are therefore giventhe chance to take an active part in form of a month-long internship in the Namibian Ministry of Justice or in an non-governmental organization.

With the Law Reform Commission of the Namibian Ministry of Justice the students are able to support the preparation of new acts by means of comparative law concerning the central legal problems of the partcular bill.
