Default Is it a Medical Malpractice?

A very good friend of mine has undergone a surgery at a hospital and never woke up. He has a severe brain injury. How could this happen? He was only thirty. The management of hospital says that it was just a tragic accident but I am wondering whether it could be medical malpractice.

It might or might not be. The ONLY way to find out is hire a medical malpractice attorney who will have the records properly investigated.

I wish to inform you that you may contact a medical expert to determine if there was medical malpractice. A medical malpractice case may not proceed without an expert opinion. In addition, you may consult a medical malpractice law firm for guidance. Some such law firms also work on pro bono basis.

No, they don't.

They work on a contingency where they get a percentage of the settlement or award.

I would definitely suggest the family have an expert review the records.
All surgeries have some risk unfortunately but you really cannot take the word of the hospital as gospel.
And independent evaluation is needed.

It might be or might be not, I think you must involve an attorney in your friend's case and I know one of the attorneys who may help you if you belong to Texas. His name is Mr. Bill Lee Voss.

In this regard an attorney who is an expert in medical malpractice case can handle the case if you want to file a case against the hospital. You are required to collect all the treatment history from the hospital for the purpose of filing the case.

You should be wary of people like Bill Voss, who must resort to getting clients by spamming message boards.

It might or might not be. We cannot reach any decision until and unless an investigation is done.
