Default What should I do about Equifax and the breach of data?

What really is the best thing to do now?
Do I need to sue in small claims or arbitration, or should I just sit and wait for the government or the class action lawyers to resolve this?
I don't really see a clear answer anywhere on what is best to do.

And I don't see a clear explanation of what your problem is with Equifax.

They said Equifax and the data breach -- that is all over the news. That seems to be the issue.

Fine.

But that doesn't explain what HIS problem is or what HE thinks he has as grounds for a lawsuit.

My Equifax account was breached and my Amex was used in Europe when I live in the US have never been to Europe.

I never had any issue like that before the Equifax breach.

Did AMEX credit the money back to your account?

That is far from proof that the data breach is related to the misuse of your Amex card.

I thought there was some class action on equifax where we would all get something?

I have never received a thing. not even a notice or anything. Am I missing something?

If you are facing an issue with the Equifax you should act something rather that waiting for the class action result. It is good to consult a lawyer in this regard.

You can sue in small claims. Somebody I think even created an app to help you file it.
I was reading about it just last week. I don't recall the name.
