Default COMPLAINT AGAINST TELEVISION CHANNELS (SOUTH AFRICA)

Please help! We would like to ask (those BRANDS which support these (TWO 2) TELEVISION CHANNELS (SABC & ACC7) by ADVERTS to RE-CALL these ADVERTS as what they did are UNFORGIVABLE, UNDEMOCRATIC and NOT BEEN ASK FOR. They MISLEAD ALL our people in South Africa with their FALSE information which they gave during the BROADCASTING of the ELECTION RESULTS SHOW after the LOCAL MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS on 3 August 2016. SUDDENLY they are UNABLE to say a word about what they did and are UNABLE to remember anything! SORRY, but it does NOT work like that. They must be kept RESPONSIBLE for exactly the OPPOSITE what is happening now. WHAT HAPPENED DURING THIS BROADCAST IS ALSO TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL for ANY NATIONAL BROADCASTER! BOTH SABC and ACC7 are now very hard busy to play "INNOCENT" - now those who EXPLAIN "COALITION MUNICIPALITIES" ARE DEAD and also those institutions in South Africa which are RESPONSIBLE to INVESTIGATE these BROADCASTING CHANNELS! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! ) HOW CAN WE TRUST THEM EVER AGAIN?

* COMPLAINT AGAINST TELEVISION CHANNELS (SOUTH AFRICA)

Complaint against the following Broadcasting Television channels:

1. ANN7

2. SABC (2)

Dates of broadcast:

Thursday - 4 August 2016

Friday - 5 August 2016

What went wrong during broadcast (reason for complaint):

Coalition Municipals were discussed and the following was mentioned. Example - It a municipality has a total of 100 seats a political party will need 51 SEATS to get power of a municipality. If this is not possible a coalition with other parties will be needed to get the total seats they need for power over municipality. It was also mentioned during these broadcasts that if this deal would not be reached between political parties re-elections will be needed!

The leader of the EFF, Julius Malema, made it very clear that the ECONOMIC FREEDOM FIGHTERS (EFF) will NOT go into a coalition with any political party. He also said that they will vote for the mayor candidate of the DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE (DA)

SOLUTION FOR PROBLEM:

1. ANN7 and SABC (2) must take responsibility and explain what happened on the following municipalities: (There show MISLEAD viewers with the explanation of coalition municipalities.)

1.1. City of Johannesburg

1.2. City of Tshwane

2. When will the re-elections in these two (2) municipality areas take place as it was mentioned during the above results show on these two (2) channels?

This COMPLAINT was already brought under the attention of LOCAL BROADCASTING AUTHORITY in SOUTH AFRICA, but NO luck of any reply from them or any INVESTIGATING regarding this matter. What will INTERNATIONAL BRANDS say if they must know that INSTITUTIONS in SOUTH AFRICA are using their BRAND NAMES to SUPPORT these two (2) TV CHANNELS with ADVERTS:

1.) Telkom South Africa (Natcc & Obill)
2.) AXE - Deodarant (Unilever - Canada & Dr AXE - Using your name!)
3.) Lux Soap (India Mart)
4.) Shield Deodarant (Benn Jerry)
5.) Oros Cooldrink (Tigerbrands & ESTEQ)
6.) Pond's Cream (Pond's Institude-ph)
7.) Castle Milk Stout Beer (Beer Advocate)
8.) Jet Stores (Jet Online)
9.) Dr. Oetker Pizza (Oetker)
10.) Tastic Rice (Fastmoving South Africa)
11.) Steers Restaurant (Famous Brands - DSG)
12.) Herbex (Herbex Health. Com)
13.) MAQ Dishwasher (MaqInt)
14.) Revlon (Shot Online & Revlon.com)

I wish to inform you that the BCCSA (Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa) is an independent judicial tribunal which must reach its decisions on the Broadcasting Code independently and in line with the precepts of administrative justice, as required by the Constitution of the Republic and legislation that governs fair administrative justice. The Complaint shall be made to the Registrar in writing and it is important to provide full details. The Complaint should not be anonymous, fraudulent, frivolous, malicious or vexatious. You may make a Complaint to the BCCSA.

Could really prove that the broadcast was malicious and with a specific intent to mislead people?

Maybe they just made a mistake?

In my experience all of the SA media are biased. It's nothing really new.
Unfortunately.
