It's not fair for women to be the target of cyber harassments especially when they are threatened by their ex-bf's of sending explicit photos or videos that is beyond the woman's consent as she is also in the video. I wonder if there are international law that we women can go to for help as I, too am a victim of this and am still fighting it.

my fiance is a model and was sent clothing to model for a "tryout" to become a model for an agency. after she was accept by the agency she did some research to find out more info on the company. she found that things seemed iligitiment, and when she spoke to other models red flags came up. So she turned down the fake contract the agency had sent her and replied she did not want to do business with them. In turn he turned around and posted nude pictures of her with slander on his website. What can we do. We live in canada and he lives in australia? any ideas would be very much appreciated

That's not necessarily true - there could well be a case for invasion of privacy. Op may be able to convince a court that she had an expectation of privacy and the images were never intended to be distributed.

These issues are presented in court almost daily. 90% of the time its ruled the pictures were a gift which means the personin the pics does not own them and owner can do what he/she wishes with pictures within reason. Prime example are the numerous sex tapes out there that celebs are not able to prevent from being shown and sold. Examples

Pam Anderson
Kim Kardashian

to name two. The videos were private and not for public display yet they are.

Celebrities enjoy far less civil protection than private individuals. Check out Quincy's posts over at FA.

Not saying it would be a slamdunk by any means but I would hesitate against telling the poster that it's a total wash.
