There have been only a couple seizures after Viagra, all within a couple of hours of the first use and all generalized tonic-clonic seizures which I doubt it what your non-medical term small refers to.

Did you go to the ER? Suffer lasting damage? I'm guessing no. Your dr didn't randomly prescribe this. You discussed this issue with him. You had a choice if you felt he was just getting paid to push the pills on you. Say no. Don't fill it. Don't take it. It's not medication to extend your life.

You can sue anyone. Much luck winning.

If you suspect a medical malpractice you can ask the doctor for compensation for all the ailments you suffered. You can seek help from a lawyer to file the case.

What does "basically a small seizure" really mean?

Did you in fact have a seizure caused by the drug? Has that been proven in any way?

If not your first step may be to have a med mal lawyer or doctor review the medical file in detail, and then take possible next steps if the data warrants it.

So??? That's a legitimate reason to prescribe that medication.

Ask for compensation based upon a suspicion? You need to come up with something better than that.

Gotta share this. My now deceased father and uncle were fondly referred to by their family doctor as the Viagara twins. My father had a girlfriend half his age and my uncle slept with any younger women that intrigued him. When they did my uncles autopsy, the report stated that if he had not died from cancer, he would soon have died from overuse of Viagara. Obviously the doctor was not prescribing it in such large quantities, he was buying it online.

hmmm death by overuse of Viagra. I never heard of that.
I guess if you gotta go that's not the worst way to go.

It is, in fact, rather unpleasant. The first effect is of course an erection. One that swells unabated and will not go down, causing intense pain. Then come the cardiac abnormalities, nausea, dizziness, fainting, on and on. It’s terrible.

What can i do about this? I think the doctors are getting paid for the doses they prescribe?

OP isn’t returning but in the interest of education...

Viagra was originally created to help ppl with heart/lung problems. In trials they discovered a side effect that was much more financially rewarding.

They do still offer it most particularly to those of us suffering from a particular form of pulmonary hypertension. It’s prescribed to males and females from infancy on up.
