And you get free services in exchange.
Stop using them if you don't like the deal, that's my suggestion.

Facebook hacks YOUR OWN account every day, that's how they sell the ads after snooping on you.

Well don't take that as THE final word.
There have been plenty of people charged for illegally hacking or entering another's account.
The fact is, it is NOT legal to do so.

I had the same result. Told me it was a civil matter and go sue her.

The police hate to get into that kind of stuff between bf's and gf's.
They would be inundated I guess.
I tried to get my ex in trouble when she broke in to my account, and they just blew it off and said guard your password better next time...

I did that with my ex-girlfriends account and went all through it.
She found that in her history Monday and is saying she will call the police. Should i be worried?

It makes perfect sense to me.
I see nothing illogical about preventing unauthorized access, however it occurs.
