However, there is a statute of...

Re: Probably too late for me, wrongful eviction (I think)

You're right. It's too late for you. You weren't evicted in retaliation for calling the health department, you were evicted for not paying your rent. That's all the judge wanted to know.

Re: Does DWI stay on record forever or some period of time?

Criminal records are forever.

For car insurance, it typically stays on your driving record (that insurance companies get) for 5 years.

As for disclosing it to employers, it depend on the...

Re: How much of my income tax return can child support take?

If you had bothered to read the previous responses you would have your answer.

Yes, they can take the whole thing.

Re: Can I have marijuana in my car that I bought legally in Colorado

Drive the speed limit and don't do anything that will get you pulled over.

Get a haircut, shave, remove facial metal, wear a dress shirt, cover your tats, and hope your Colorado plates don't...

Re: Ex took my money from our account

It's a joint account. Your money is as much hers as it is yours.

What she "knows" is irrelevant. And, no, you don't have any chance of winning in small claims court.

Re: Is it possible for child support to be extended

Sure.

A judge doesn't need your husband's approval to order it. His ex will, of course, have to go to court to get it (if it's not in the decree) and he will, of course, have to go to court to...

Re: Arbitration clause on website but not in contract

Depends on the terms of the contract, which we can't see from here. You can upload a copy if you click on "go advanced" at the bottom of the message box.

Re: Thieving room mate threatens to sue

If you don't want to call the police and you don't want to sue, then you are wasting your time here.

By the way, if you sued, you'd only be entitled to the used value of the dishes. Pretty much...

Re: Fined for walking someone else's service dog

Make sure the dog's owner comes to court with you to testify and document that the dog is a service animal and you were walking it for him/her.

Without that evidence/testimony you could lose.

Re: What can we do to make the judge speed up the divorce?

Emotionally, yes.

Legally, no.

Your daughter's lawyer is the one who would have a better idea of the judge's timetable and he is only obliged to share that knowledge with your daughter.

Re: False arrest at hotel for noise in the daytime
