Re: Pet question in Pasco County, Florida.

My opinion: That's abuse. Somebody should chain the owner outside 24/7/365. Why have a dog if you have to keep it chained up like that?

Draw your own conclusions.

Re: Cut short on his pay

Of course he has a case if he got shorted and can prove it. Unfortunately, if the company has no business presence in the US the cost to sue and travel to the UK would be astronomical. And if your...

Re: Defendant rights in relation to witness selection

The defense cannot prevent the other side's witnesses from testifying.

That's just plain idiotic.

True. But, keep in mind, that a defendant cannot prevent the prosecution from calling...

Re: Defendant rights in relation to witness selection

A defendant in any type of case (civil, criminal, divorce, small claims) can pick and choose the witnesses that will be the most favorable to him. If there is anything negative about the witness he...

Re: Sentencing for third traffic ticket in three months

You mean go to the courtroom and when the proceedings start interrupt them and say "I want to testify"?

No, it doesn't work that way.

You'll have to get the defendant to let the court...

Re: Defendant rights in relation to witness selection

Posed that way, I would have to answer yes.

But under what circumstances would you want to prevent that witness from testifying if the testimony was favorable to your defense (which is how I think...

Re: Can I be my own registered agent of my own LLC?

You'll need a third party registered agent where your LLC is registered. The primary purpose of a registered agent is to be available to accept process service of lawsuits that are filed where your...

Re: Squirrel that got into the home and home insurance

That exclusion is standard throughout the insurance industry.

Doesn't matter. Whatever meets the scientific definition of rodent is a rodent.

For one squirrel? Ouch.

Re: Squirrel that got into the home and home insurance

Go to Section I - Perils Insured Against - Exclusions. "We do not insure, however, for loss...caused by: Birds, vermin, rodents, or insects."

Squirrels are rodents.

Re: Denied service because of address association

Sorry, this has nothing to do with civil rights though it's the right place to post your problem.

Your solution is simple. Dump Consumer Cellular and get your phones elsewhere.

Re: Disobeyed Traffic Signal

I suggest that you go back to that intersection with a stop watch and time the yellow light, same day of the week, same time of day.

Then look into federal and state standards for the timing...

Re: Disobeyed Traffic Signal

Sorry, but that does not compute. If you reached the limit line just as the light turned yellow you should have been able to make it all the way through the intersection before the light turned red....

Re: Can I sue for my 19 year old child?

Maybe she is smarter than the average...

Yes, I saw that but didn't mention it because I didn't know if your citation was civil or criminal.

Hopefully, the FOIA will get you what you need. If not, you'll have to address the evidence...

She didn't release the child...
