There was a Contempt motion filed against me based on allegations from CPS saying I was acting in a threatening manner during a supervised visit that my daughter had with her father ... What is a Contempt motion? - What does it mean to act in a threatening manner?

What is a Contempt motion?

It asks the court to punish you for something you did or didn't do.

What does it mean to act in a threatening manner?

I don't know. What does the contempt citation say you did?

Do you have the papers in front of you so you can quote it word for word?

I wish to inform you that if a person violates any of the terms and conditions of a Court Order then a Motion may be filed to hold that person to be in contempt of the Court Order and to seek to punish the person for it. In this case, the CPS has made the allegations and the burden of proof is on you to prove them wrong. You may rely on all evidence that supports your point of view. The Court will consider all the facts and decide the matter.
