Can I cancel a contract with them if they are two weeks past the date we were supposed to close?

Read your estate contract. In Spain most contracts have an obligatory minimum period. This is the period of time before you can file to cancel the contract. Your contract may also have a cancellation fee.

Their fee system is very misleading.
No other firm has the BUYER pay the broker fee and tecnocasa does not make that clear when you go to see property. It is only after they waste all your time they tell you--oh and that will be 15,000 more euro beyond what was stated in the advert????

arghhh
