Port of entry - Los Angeles, California

Hello Dears,
We family recently get approval of immigration visa applied from Los Angeles relative.
We like to know 3 things.
1. Our relative applies from Los Angeles , California. But , due to our US work matters and children school choice , we like to choose port of entry(1st entry with visa packets) to New York.
Is it possible for port of entry(New York)) different from application place(Los Angeles)?

2. Due to some matters , we would like to come back after admission of US(after 1 week) , be not waiting to receive actual green cards to relative house address because we heard approximate waiting time for green card is one month to 3 months. So, if possible , we would come back to original country and our relative in US would send our green cards with DHL or FedEx to our foreign address when she receives our green cards sent from authority. Later after clearing up foreign country matters , we will reenter to US with these green cards we receive.
Is it possible?

3. Before getting green card , can person apply for reentry permit ?
Can reentry permit be applied from foreign US embassy?

It sounds like regardless of what you do, you are going to trigger an illegal presence flag and the issue of whether you will be forgiven must be settled. You need an immigration attorney, fast.

I wish to inform you that you may obtain re-entry permit before you leave the United States. Further, at the port of entry in New York you may have to answer questions for the arrival in New York when the sponsor is in Los Angeles.
