Default Employers actions after injury seem attempting to intimidate

I was recently hurt on the job and ended up with a concussion they stuck me in a room with someone who never gave a name then after my pee test was good they also made me do a hair test. The following day I had an email about them doing a background check on me..? I have worked there over a year now as well..but I never consented or signed a paper for a background check. Is that legal? are they fishing to fire me?

Have you received medical treated under workers compensation insurance?

If not, I suggest you contact the Virginia WC Commission for assistance.
