Default Payouts for those opioid case settlements

Will I be receiving any payouts for those opioid case settlements?

I live in New Hampshire but have not heard much, even though we have a huge problem here with those drugs.

I was on the "prescribed" drugs 3 years and it nearly killed me too, like so many others.

I wish to inform you that you may receive compensation if you were a party to lawsuit. In case of class action lawsuit you may claim compensation if you had informed court that you were affected and intend to be part of the group which had filed lawsuit. In class action lawsuit relief amount is divided among members and hence you may have to take steps to become member of the group of person for whom class action lawsuit was filed.

Opioid epidemic has made it one of the worst drug crises in American history, causing more deaths annually than car crashes or guns, and leaving many children orphaned. Dozens of states have sued pharmaceutical companies accusing them of causing the epidemic. Media coverage has largely focused on law-enforcement solutions to the epidemic, which portray the issue as criminal, whereas some see it as a medical issue. The distributors and manufacturers have consistently insisted that the opioid crisis is not their fault, that it was the rogue physicians that caused the crisis. Even if if the plaintiffs went to trial and won, there could be appeals. With settlements, everyone will sign the deal, and the states, counties, cities and tribes will receive abatement funds to mitigate their costs. With trials, there will be additional litigation costs and it could be years until the plaintiffs see a dollar to fight the crisis.
