Default Grandparent adoption

My mom was able to get dhs involved in my life and as a result I was terminated. She has lies about me trying to contact my son in order for it to be considered abandonment. I want to stop the adoption but don't know how

Hire a lawyer to represent you.
Due to a recent promotion, I should now be referred to as Major Obvious.

I would not be trying to provide information and knowledge if I did not sympathize.

Some days it is just not worth chewing through the restraints to face life.

If your parental rights were terminated you no longer have standing regarding this child's adoption. You are a stranger in the eyes of the law, to this child. She doesn't need to prove anything about you now, you're out of the picture.

Before the termination of parental rights you could've brought to court proof you did not abandon the child - cancelled checks or money order stubs from the money you gave your mother, receipts for the clothes or medical care you paid for. I think you see where this is going.

I would assume that such a "forced" adoption against the mother's will is not a very easy thing to do. There must have been a good deal of negative information.
Or at least a lack of any objection at the time.
