Two active health insurance policies at once

I have 2 health insurance policies that are both active, so which one do I put my claim under, or do they split it or how would that work legally or by custom of the insurers.

I had a 120 day temp policy but now I have full time and they overlapped by 45 days approximately.

Oh, and they both have a deductible, one at 500 dollars and one at 250 dollars.

File your claim with both policies.

The claims departments will tell you how much is payable based on any "co-ordination of benefits" provisions in the policies.

Make sure you tell each company about the other policy when you file the claim.
