Default My attorney has the China virus

My attorney has the China virus and cannot work.

Can I get a 100% refund because really as of now he is worthless to me?

He last sent a bill of 4300 dollars.

Was the bill for undelivered work? If yes then he should refund you. If not then you still have to pay him. By the way, it's not "China Virus" you stupid ***.

Attorneys do not bill for "undelivered work".

You should receive a refund if your attorney did nothing. If you paid him or her and no paperwork was completed or prepared, you are entitled to a refund — in some cases, the entire retainer fee.
First, confirm that the attorney did nothing on your file.
That is the key. Attorneys provide a service. They charge a fee for that service. That service takes time. If the attorney took his or her time to work on your case, something was done. Just because you did not move forward with your case does not mean the attorney did nothing.
It is important to read and understand the fee agreement that you sign with your attorney before he begins working on your behalf. You'll also need to read it when you are ending the relationship. It holds the key to determining whether your lawyer owes you money. Most fee agreements are either on a contingency basis or for work done at an agreed-upon hourly rate -- the two arrangements are very different beasts when it comes to fee refunds.
If you and your attorney disagree on the amount of refund you are due, you can usually get help. State and local agencies that regulate attorney conduct in each state, called bar associations, often offer fee arbitration services. This is an informal process in which both the attorney and client present their positions before a neutral third party who decides the matter for them. Alternatively, you can file a claim for money due in court.
