In a few days back my car was stolen. Is my Insurance company liable for any kind of insurance claim...If yes then can anybody tell me the procedure for filling an insurance claim?

My simple piece of advice for you is to look in the yellow pages for your area, and see if you can find claim solicitors who is well experienced in personal injury claims cases. This will give you the specialization from the solicitor who knows all the laws specifically for accident claims.

Did you file a police report? You should have.

If so then give that info to the insurer. You normally will be covered.

There is no “normally” covered. It will depend on their coverage. With liability only, they’d get zero.

Almost everybody's standard policy covers theft of the car.
I have never even been offered a policy stating otherwise.

Millions of people every day buy auto insurance without theft and/or collision coverage because they have decided that their vehicles are too old or too low in value to be worth paying for the coverage.

If you have met with an accident then you must file a police report after an auto accident and you can file a report online. Police can help you or both the parties in order to collect the facts and document what happened. Police can help you to obtain the other car driver's insurance information. If you are still confused then contact with a personal injury attorney.
