Default Disclosing a past criminal act to my psychiatrist

Calif.
I would like to know : what are one's rights if one were to eg disclose a past wrongful act to my psychiatrist?

I eg have a diagnosed mental disorder and have been seeing this pychiatrist for over a year now.
What confidentiality rights would I have if I rightly or wrongly confess of a crime ?
I am not a future threat to myself or other persons.

If you disclose your past to the psychiatrist as part of your treatment it will not amount to a self-incriminating statement.
