Whenever you receive a notice of foreclosure you need to seek advice of an attorney to find if there is any technical or substantive defects are associated with the foreclosure proceedings. An attorney can find ways to defend the foreclosure process by scrutinizing the documents related to the mortgage. If there was no defects you are required to pay off the debt to defeat the foreclosure.

You can file for divorce and get the family court to make orders to preserve the status quo while you resolve the break up. The court can force him to pay until the divorce ends--and even after if that's the settlement.
My ex tried to do the same thing to put pressure on me.

I doubt the OP is coming back after almost three months.

Another hit and run OP. This place really breeds that type of behavior.

Go and meet with the lender. Explain the situation.
There is a chance something can be worked out even if full payment seems impossible at a given point. Doing nothing means the foreclosure WILL go through.

First of all you two need to agree what it is you really want to do. And how to pay for it.

But if you cannot agree, and if you are both on the deed, a court will allow you to petition to sell the property and take your half. And as somebody else mentioned above a divorce court can do that too.
