Default credit card due -- is there any travel ban?

Hi
this is regarding my brother's credit crad issues. he was in dubai for 12 years, now he is moved to other country. he has credit card payment due for last two months. now the collection agency calling me about this and start thretening me that they are going to file a case.
if they file the case is there any travel ban for him?

I wish to inform you that your brother may have an arrest warrant in UAE and thus he may not enter UAE. As there is credit card default thus credit card company may take court action against your brother.

Hi guys...i have similar situation..i have unpaid loan in dubai 90k...i left dubai in 2012.. They ksending sending me emails...i ignored...yesterday they called my homenumber in my country...i was shoked coz so much time passed...guys give me a clear answer what they can do to me and my family in my homecountry????? Im not planing to go back to gcc . or they just harrasing me???? Plz reply me

They can sue you in your home country for the debt, and then collect upon the judgment they get. Harassing? Only if you let them. Get caller i.d. on your phone if you do not already have it and don't answer the phone when they call. Let them sue you if you are not able to make satisfactory arrangements to make payments on the debt.

Will they really pay so much attention and money for each person who left with a debt to sue all of us abroad???????

User1,
They can't sue you in your home country. The law only affect in UAE. So if you now at your own country just relax and if collect agent call you just ignore them.

Suggest your brother to talk about rescheduling your payment plan. If they file case there will be travel ban for him. Check with an attorney who may guide you in this regard.

Hi is there travel ban if im not paid my credit card here in the philipines? If my unpaid credit card will affect my plan to go to abroad? I have unpaid credit card worth of 65k and in interest it come up 96k due to all interest of charges.a lot different lerson call me a agent i think. There is a call also that came from law office. I really want to paid this but badly i don't have enough money for this.

For your assistance if still i can travel to the abroad if i leave my unpaid credit card?
