Default Trademark on unique clever virus drawing

Can I trademark or copyright a term and related drawing with the word coronavirus in it?

Would that be prohibited for any reason? Like because it's a disease or something?

There's already a ton of Corona Virus drawings out there.

Make sure you don't infringe on somebody else's work.

If you are doing this for money, consult an intellectual property attorney.

If you are doing it just for fun, you can probably take a few liberties.

I wish to inform you that USPTO has stated on its Website that a trademark or service mark includes any word, name, symbol, device, or any combination, used or intended to be used to identify and distinguish the goods/services of one seller or provider from those of others, and to indicate the source of the goods/services. A disease name used in a drawing may not be prohibited. You may contact an attorney and seek guidance in this matter.

Intellectual property is a property right that can be protected under federal and state law, including copyrightable works, ideas, discoveries, and inventions. The term intellectual property relates to intangible property such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
intellectual property is your right to protect your original work while a copyright is established when an original work is created tangibly (not just conceptually). However, unregistered work can often be hard to prove as your own, which is why it is important to keep digital or physical records. If you ever need to take a case to court, think about how well you can demonstrate that you are the creator of the artwork in question.
If you’re a U.S. artist, it is recommended that you officially register your artwork with the Copyright Office of the U.S. Library of Congress. Even though a copyright is automatically in place at the moment of creation, registering the work ensures you have sufficient proof that the work is yours.
Only works of artistic — not utilitarian — expression are eligible for copyright protection. Works must be set down in a fixed and tangible format, which means that ideas themselves are not protected.
If something is used primarily to identify a brand or organization, it is protected by trademark, not copyright. Inventions are protected by patents, not copyright.
