Default Involuntarily hospitalized and became a prohibited possessor of weapons

I was involuntarily hospitalized and became a prohibited possessor of weapons and firearms. While in court the Judge spouted off a line about not being able to reside in places where other people own guns. For example, a room mate situation. There is nothing that says this is the letter I requested from the County Office of the Public Advocate. Was the judge lying?

You should ask your attorney.

No, the judge was not lying. You're a possible danger to yourself and others so you cannot be in any situation where you have access to firearms.

If the court passes an order in this regard you are strictly liable to bound by the order. As the judge only mention about the situation you should confirm it with your attorney.
