Amazon charged my bank "one dollar" for canceling/ disabling "prime" shipping during the free trial membership.

I had the same issue. I canceled it on my credit card though.

I just got a weird one dollar charge as well when cancelling?
It has been two days now.
Is that just temporary for some reason?

I don't recall having it happen on Amazon but I've seen it on other sites. It ultimately gets removed or reversed.

You can easily get Amazon to reverse it if you have properly cancelled Prime before the free trial was up. Read the Terms of Service and make sure you did it right.
