Default Targeted for discipline

I work in Arizona at a hospital where I am supervisor of EVS department and I have been "targeted for discipline" from a director who I have NO communication with. I only speak with the Operations Manager who has no concern with my job performance he says.
Much more I can say but just like to know where to begin to resolve this kind of situation? What can I really do?

I wish to inform you that first of all you may approach the hospital management and seek resolution. If that is not possible, you may contact the nearest office of the Department of Labor and seek guidance. Alternatively, you may contact an attorney and seek guidance.

In the United States, there is no single “wrongful termination” law. Rather there are several state and federal laws and court decisions that define this concept. In all U.S. states except Montana, workers are considered by default to be at-will employees, meaning that they may be fired at any time without cause.
