Default Charging affidavit for open container or alcohol in public

My friend received a charging affidavit for open container or alcohol in public and possession of alcohol by a minor. She's 18 and this is her first offense. Would you please be so kind to advise on:
-what are the possible consequences of these charges

Default Re: Charging affidavit for open container or alcohol in public

Often this could be negotiated down to some kind of court supervision -- but make sure she works to keep this off the record one way or another.

For that reason it often helps to retain counsel even for these important but relatively minor offenses.
