Unsecured Loan availed in oman

I availed unsecured Bank loan at Oman (bank Muscat) in 2013 amount 5000 omr, my company taken forced resignation and sent me back to my home country India in 2013. Now I received call from local Guy saying that you have to pay your liability, otherwise we will file a police Case and you will be arrested. Now I m not in a position to pay off. I lost all my money in a business.kindly suggest me. How can oppose this

Stop answering their calls. They don't care that you lost your money, they just want the commission they'll get once you pay.

Usually, a lender will not initiate legal proceedings against a person in another country. It is painstaking and costly. Such suits are filed only in cases of big frauds involving huge money.
