Default Accident driving on a one way

While I was driving (4/2017), I got into an accident driving on a one way road in the Dominican republic where a pedestrian was hit ( and has now since recovered). I was never arrested and the car owners insurance covered medical expenses and lawyer fees. How would I know, since i have since left the country (I reside in the USA), if I can legally enter the DR...as I am not sure the state of how/if everything was resolved because I stopped talking to the car owner.

Thank you.

I wish to inform you that you may contact your attorney who may search your court file and have a copy of your records. If there is no court order making you guilty in any criminal case then you enter Dominica Republic. If court order does not restrict your travel to Dominican Republic then your entry is not restricted.

As you were not arrested at the time of incident and the medical insurance covered all the expenses regarding the accident shows that there is no pending cases in your name and you can enter Dominican republic without fear of arrest.

Seems like you would have heard by now if something were going to be filed criminally.

Or at least they would be trying to interview you and get more facts about the nature of the accident.

I frankly would not go back there under those circumstances.
Why take the chance unless you really MUST be back there for some reason.

Have you got some evidence that you have paid all the medical expenses and other things that were required to do at that time?
