Default Can the motel kick me out?

Texas

I live in a motel but can no longer work to pay for it due to stay at home orders because of covid-19.
Can the motel kick me out?

Read the following article.

Hotels and motels are not covered by the state's moratorium on evictions of tenants from residential rentals.

Individuals at risk of homelessness can contact their local Housing Assessment and Resource Agency (HARA) (https://www.michigan.gov/documents/m...t_678040_7.pdf).
Each HARA works with individuals to gather information to determine both need and eligibility and then connect them to services.

I was just booted out at my place and the police said it was legal.
Fortunately I have family I can go to for a little while anyway.

Seems to me that for 60 days or so nobody really has to pay anybody anywhere!

For better or for worse?
