Default Court appearance by video link/telephone

In the Philippines and as party to a civil case (plaintiff/defendant), is it possible to participate in a court hearing via video link (for ex. Skype) and/or telephone call?

That's up to the court.

You'll have to ask the court clerk if the court has the equipment or is allowed by the rules.

Or ask your lawyer.
